Maine is at the forefront of addressing sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace. All employers located or doing business in Maine that employ more than 15 employees must provide sexual harassment training to all employees.
Employers with 15 or more workers must provide training to all employees within the first year of employment.
There are additional requirements for supervisory and managerial employees within the first year of employment.
There are currently no duration requirements for sexual harassment training in Maine.
