Bystander Intervention Training Mandated in Chicago

Chicago passed additional bystander intervention legislation in 2019 which requires businesses and organizations to provide training to all employees about the harms of gender-based violence, strategies for intervening in situations of potential gender-based violence, and resources for victims.
