Connecticut Sexual Harassment Prevention Training Requirements
Connecticut has been at the forefront of addressing sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace. The state has long required employers to provide sexual harassment training at least once every ten years. Although Connecticut previously required the training only for supervisors, it now requires harassment training for all employees. Guidance issued by the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO) makes clear that the law applies even to employers that are headquartered out of state.
