The Challenge
Sounds True sought out a new training provider when they, like many companies around the globe, went fully remote during the COVID-19 pandemic. A remote workplace offered Sounds True the flexibility to expand the states from which they could hire, but that also led to new legal requirements. “When we realized we would be a remote-first company moving forward, we searched for training partners that specialized in providing training in a remote setting,” said Joe Grubb, HR Generalist. “We found a one-stop shop with EasyLlama.
The Solution
Sounds True found implementation to be particularly simple, thanks in large part to EasyLlama’s BambooHR integration. An accessible dashboard has also made administration easier by tracking assignments, employee completion rates, and much more. One of their favorite features is Smart Assign, where courses are automatically assigned to employees based on their state and supervisory level. “We don’t have to go into every single state's law book and see what we might be missing for training,” explained Grubb. He estimates that with EasyLlama, he has saved approximately 120-160 work hours during his time at Sounds True.
